Women and the Glass Ceiling

This is a really interesting piece from the New York Times, perhaps useful to business teachers for inspiring ladies to aim  higher or  to use when discussing management of people, glass ceiling, women in management that sort of thing. Or even for any teachers of ladies who may wish to aim higher.

It’s also useful to any women teachers who have their hearts set on senior management within education, although teaching is one sector in the UK where the number of female senior execs is truly reflective of the number of females in the profession, there are still barriers and knowing how to try to overcome them might be useful.

Have a read if you’re interested in this sort of thing: http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2013/10/13/business/women-corner-office.html?smid=fb-share
